4) Solidarity with Manchester
Colleagues may be aware of the cuts and redundancies at Manchester.
We are deeply shocked by, and utterly condemn, today’s announcement that over 900 staff, mostly academics, are at risk of losing their jobs through compulsory redundancy as the University wants to reduce staff numbers in order to create some financial “headroom”
