2) Local Hardship Fund – EGM, 13.30-14.00, 14th February, Victoria Rooms G16
To set up our Local Hardship Fund, we need to approve an enabling motion at an Emergency General Meeting asap.
The branch Executive has scheduled an EGM for Wednesday, 14th February at 13:30 in the Vic Rooms. The main business will be to pass the motion. The meeting should last only 30 mins.
The Hardship Fund will prioritise low paid staff in precarious employment.
Please see a motion draft [pdf].
The motion will also be circulated on Monday, 12th February with any revisions/amendments. If you have any revisions/amendments, please email ucu-office@bristol.ac.uk by 12:00, Monday, 12th February.
Please note that following the EGM, in the same room, is another important Bristol UCU event: discussion of the Gender Pay Claim.
