1) First 2023 Strike Day Announced  –  Wednesday, 1st Feb.

We are taking 18 days of strike action in February and March.

The first day of strike action is Wednesday 1st February.

Universities still refuse to make meaningful offers to restore pensions, to increase pay, to reduce our workloads, to improve job security, and to close gender and ethnicity pay gaps.

The clock is ticking for university bosses to make their staff a serious offer and avoid disruption [link].

On Wednesday, 25th January, members are invited to a branch General Meeting, 13:00-14:00, via Microsoft Teams. Please hold the date and time.
