2) Joint Statement: University of Bristol UCU/Bristol UCU
On 21st September, the University and its UCU branch issued a joint statement. To read in full (intranet):

The joint statement commits University and union to multi-year pay awards to resolve our long-running dispute, to share Bristol anti-casualisation and gender pay gap best practice with the rest of the HE sector, and notes the current pay and grade structure negotiations starting on 9th October, concluding in December 2023.
The statement also flags up the current review of HE funding and the ‘real-terms decline in staff pay at Bristol and across the sector’.
