1. Bristol UCU Survey: Exploring Racial Equality at the University of Bristol.
This survey seeks to explore the perspectives and experiences of staff and PGRs at UoB (Union and non-Union members). Please note that this survey is anonymous, and we do not ask identifiable questions. The anonymised data will be shared with other branch officers, with colleagues from across the University and senior managers. It will, further, inform Bristol UCU’s own programme of work in this area.

The All-Staff Assembly on 11th February 14:00 – 15:30 on Teams will focus on ‘the external financial environment and our own position’. If you have any questions, comments or concerns after this assembly, please send them to ucu-office@bristol.ac.uk.
The first Joint Consultative and Negotiating Committee (JCNC) meeting of 2025, is the next day, on 12th February. At JCNCs, officers from the three campus unions, UCU, Unison and Unite, meet with senior management. UCU officers may be able to put some of your questions to management there, and / or communicate your concerns (we can also do those things after the meeting, of course).
