1. Congress This Weekend – Give Our Delegates A Steer
UCU Congress is taking place in Harrogate over the coming weekend, 25th – 27th May. This is where delegates debate and vote on motions which, if passed, become UCU policy.
If you haven’t already done so, please give our delegates a steer by completing this survey containing 10 propositions on which we would like your view. Please vote for, against or abstain.

4. REF Code of Practice
Bristol UCU has submitted its response to the current draft of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 Code of Practice:
Bristol UCU Response – University of Bristol REF2021 Code of Practice
One of the main points of the Bristol UCU response is that the University ‘not submit the outputs of former staff who have since been made redundant and that this commitment is explicitly included in your 2021 REF Code of Practice’.
